Pomegranate Seed Oil is an anti- inflammatory oil rich in phytosterols and Vitamin E but it’s best claim to fame is that it is high in Punicic Acid which protects aged and sun-damaged skin by helping the skin regenerate itself. It does this by increasing the number of cells in the outer layer of the skin (keratinocytes) which thicken the skin and improve its protective barrier against UV radiation and other environmental factors that are harmful to the skin.
