KButters are food for the skin consisting of natural nut butters, essential oils, cold pressed carrier seed oils and natural extracts from around the world that are specially blended into blissfully decadent scented butters and creams providing moisture and nourishment to the entire body and hair.

To understand the benefits of KButters is to understand why Kbutters came into existence in the first place. Darker skin tones tend to be much drier and tend to have an 'ashy' appearance, if it is not moisturized properly, more so than other skin tones so it was important for us to formulate products that would provide lots of moisture and nutrients as well as giving the skin a soft and supple appearance. We wanted our products to have 'staying power' and to feel and smell pleasant on the skin throughout the day. It was also important that we used ingredients that are unique - different than what is currently on the market. KButters are all of this. Our foundational ingredients include African butters such as Organic Shea Butter, Nilotica Shea butter, Kombo and Kpangnan butters. We use exotic butters from the Amazon Rainforest such as Bacuri, Tucuma, Murumuru and Cupuachu and Asian butters such as Illipe and Kokum. 

We blend out butters with active botanicals and fruit and nut oils that have therapeutic qualities, some of which absorb slowly and some of which are categorized as 'dry oils' for oily skin which are fast absorbing. Our oils include hand pressed Avocado oil, Brazilian Acai oil, Moringa oil, Strawberry Seed oil, Kukui Nut oil, Boabab oil, Kiwi Seed oil, and a variety of others all of which provide excellent moisture, essential fatty acids and nutrients to the skin making for a wonderful skin food experience. We use unrefined as well as refined ingredients in our products.  For scent we use natural essentials oils as well as fragrant oils. 

We keep our formulations as natural as possible using a very low percentage of fragrance and the addition of Vitamin E which acts as an additional moisturizer and antioxidant to lengthen the shelf life of our blends.

KButters are formulated with melanin rich skin in mind but can be enjoyed by all skin types. Our blends are formulated with natural simple ingredients that pack a lot of nutritional power.  Your skin will love it!
